Thank you Patty for the lovely intro.  As Patty noted concerning the food allergies, please note that we do have three cats in the house. 

I would also like to suggest this year that everyone who is participating in the cookie exchange make and bring about a dozen recipe cards with their entry's recipe written on them.  We have had some awesome entries in the past so it would nice if everyone could use their take home recipe card to make more holiday cookies at home.

Greetings to the Barony!

Well, it's that time of year again.  Time to get your hands in the flour and sugar and make some cookies for the Annual Ponte Alto Cookie Competition and Swap.  You can also win bragging rights and prizes if your cookies are good enough.  As the current Champion (remember my Reindeer Balls?), I will be playing hostess to this year's competition.
 
Countess Denise has graciously offered her house as a meeting spot again this year.  The date is scheduled for Saturday, December 17th from 7:00 to 9:00.  There will be plenty of room for your cookies to be presented in all their glorious goodness.  I do ask that if you enter the contest, you bring enough for the competition and extras to share for "afterwards" so everyone can take home an assortment.
 
The fine print - there is none - the sky is the limit!  But do remember, we may have someone with allergies, so you might want to make a note to place with your entry if you think there might be an ingredient, such as peanuts, which could cause a reaction.  But hey!  It's cookies!  Make your best and come on out.
