Mistress Claire makes mine for my helm bit that might be becuase her husband Master Eldred does alot of my Armor.

I did helm-padding for a while, really just trying to get beginners on the 
ield, but it's not a thing armorers commonly do.  I'm not sure what kind of 
eck guard you had.  If a camail, it gets quite expensive, (hundreds); if a 
orget not so much, but there is quite a range of values.  Maybe bring it to a 
ighter practice after Pennsic and we can get more of an idea of what you had 
hat needs to be replaced?  Are you looking to find somebody local to take the 
hole project in hand, or just trying to get a clue of what to tell the 
nsurance folks?

Recently my basement got flooded, and my heavy weapon helm got heavily mildewed. 
he metal is ok, but the leather chin cup, neck guard, straps and internal 
adding are a total write off.
Does anyone know a local armor who can give me a price on repairing the entire 
amage? Replace everything so it completely combat ready? My insurance will 
over this, but I need official quote.
