As a participant, I would like to extend my deep gratification to
Countess Denise and Countess Allanda for organizing and inviting us
onto their teams, organizing and coordinating our teams to ensure we
could compete at the event, and deeply and truly inspiring our hearts,
our spirits, and our arms to deeds of action with like-minded comrades
who themselves further inspired us all to action.

It was a chance to fight beyond my self, but for a worthy team -- and
not only for that team, but for that team with a cause. How glorious
and grand to add so much dimension beyond the ordinary to our fighting
by which to inspire and make the deed worthy! For this, I give great
thanks.

More personally, for those who missed it, I would like to thank
Mistress Cunian for the magnificent work she did on putting together
the remarkable Kraken scroll presented me by the King (the King
remarked on how it was likely the most amazing Kraken scroll he had
ever seen) -- and which she hid all weekend long in my own car. You
can see a copy of the scroll at http://www.waywardwolfephoto.com/gallery/8576680_uqpua#568046949_rkzLB-A-LB
-- and you can see a copy of the King granting me the award at http://www.waywardwolfephoto.com/gallery/8576680_uqpua#568045824_6aVws-A-LB
(assuming any interest on your part).

Besides Cunian's scroll and her previously mentioned award for Honor,
and Lord Stephen's outstanding induction into the Order of the White
Scarf, we should also note the outstanding fighting that was done both
by Theresa and Lucas. Theresa's performance on the field was notable
and outstanding and for a novice she was an outstanding wingman and
got quite far into the tournament. Lucas was also a very notable
fighter in the tournament, and his skill and prowess were observed
with regard.

Our friend and Stierbachi local, Ragnarr Ribcracker was good enough to
be a part of the winning team, and we are glad and proud of his
outstanding efforts throughout the tournament.

I hope everyone will join me in taking what occasions they might to
thank our Ladies of the Rose for the beauty, grace, and service they
have and continue to bring forth in our kingdom -- and for the example
and inspiration they bring to all.

In service,

Max Von Halstern
