Have no fears, there will be a plethora of marshals there and we can do any sort of fighting we can dream up.  Obviously the standard fighting for the original event will come first but with the marshals we have, just about any sort of pick up fight or melee can be done.  We just organize it ourselves ad hoc  to take the pressure off the autocrat, they have enough to worry about with the sudden changes in the format of the event.

Will the marshal activities that his highness had requested not going 
to happen then?

They had 2 Tourney formats one of which matches what we were doing 
before, the other not so much (ax and shield bear pit).

Rapier was also a 2 bear bits one normal and the other buckler and 
rapier (which still falls in what is planned now).

There was also a 10 Man Melee Team Tourney that Duke Cuan had announced 
at Pennsic.

Many folks have asked whether the format for Chalice of the Sun God V 
has been
changed due to the fact that Their Highnesses Coronation will now take 
place at
this event. The answer is, there has been no change and all activities,
including the martial ones, remain the same. The only changes that are
official, are those that are issued by the autocrat.

So if you are planning on competing in the Chalice challenges, whether
individual or team competitions, go ahead. We are still on. 
Furthermore, I
will like to take this opportunity to invite all of you to make Their 
Majesties'
last Court and Their Highnesses' Coronation day unforgettable.

I will be issuing a revised schedule once we have all the information 
we need
from TRM and TRH. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
