[Ponte Alto] greetings

Greetings to the people of the Barony of Ponte Alto; 

I hail from the Barony of Bergental in the East Kingdom. In seven
days' time I will be leaving my home and traveling to your land to
seek my fortune as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and
Trademark Office. I look forward to meeting all of you. I have been
singing as part of Bergental's a capella choir, Concentus, which I
have read has a counterpart in Ponte Alto. I also have interest in
other arts and sciences that I have had little opportunity to pursue
so far.

Once I arrive, my first challenge will be to secure an apartment. I
would appreciate any advice or assistance you might provide in that
regard. I would also be most appreciative if one of you would be
generous enough to help me keep my expense for this trip low by
sharing your home with me until I acquire my own. I will be arriving
on Thursday 10/16 and I look forward to meeting you.
