Your Most Exellent Belphoebeness,

This is actually a good point, when I got my Blue Scarf in 1996 (or 
theirabouts), I think we had the Academie, but I did not consider 
myself a part of it.  I put grat value in my scarf becuase it ment I 
could fight rapier and Baroness Aleine a dear friend of mine took hers 
off her arm and tied it on mine.

Could one have a Gold Scarf (Free Scholor) yet not be a part of the 
Academie?

Hi there.

Yes, the Academie has a website.  It is not a bad idea
to link it.

In that regard, about 50% of the rapier fighters of
Ponte Alto are members, including Marcellus.  The
other 50% (including myself) have chosen not to join,
and I would highly suggest not to try to pressure
anyone into joining.  It is a very personal choice.
