As I believe you are aware and have been advised, Aethilgar leads the  
Armour Committee which is tasked with helping folks get their armour  
working.

He can assist you in helping get your armour setup, either through  
pointing you to potential merchant, pointing you to potential local  
sources who might donate material, pointing you to local armourers who  
might assist you with the efforts, or setting-up or getting you to  
existing armouring workshops.

I urge you to work through the already-created venue for these  
circumstances.
