Blackstone Raids has proven to be a wonderful event!
Ponte Alto fielded seven fighters and had four non-fighters in attendance as
well. Due to our large forces His Majesty Sinclair called forth Ponte Alto
for special recognition during His court.

King Sinclair also singled out Lady Sian for her fighting. First of all, he
pointed out that she had only authorized last April. He gave her a wonderful
speech saying how one of our battles would not have been won were it not for
her stepping in and doing her job so that Midrealm's King could not get away
and allowing us to kill him. He said he evident courage and enthusiasm
reminded him that the glory of war can indeed be won or lost on the back of
one fighter, no matter how experienced. For her dedication he awarded her
with the coveted Shark's Tooth.

Vivats, Sian!

I was also able to award a hand-embroidered patch of a dog, representing the
Chivalrous virtue of Loyalty to the deserving Lord Corrius. It is for him to
wear proudly on his tabard so all will know that he is a valued member of
Ponte Alto.

I may not be a fighter, but I could not have been more proud of my Barony
than if I had trained them all myself!
