Two cats have been taken in from the outside and are currently sheltering in
my house. They need permament homes. They were obviously someone's cats
because they love human contact. I would like to think that they somehow got
separated from their owners rather than being dumped out in our area (which
happens way too much).
Both cats are friendly. They know each other quite well, but it is not
necessary for both to go to the same home. Both have been to the vet, and are
disease free and have had all shots. Both have been spayed.
Cat #1 is about 3-4 years old. She is a dark shorthair tabby. Currently we
care calling her "Shadow" becuase she likes to sleep in confined spaces.
But she comes for attention and has a sweet disposition.
Cat #2 is about 1-2 years old. She is a longhair tortie, coloring is grey
and rust with white paws. She was very skelatal when taken in but has put on
weight nicely. We call her "Misty" or "Cloud". She walks a bit funny, and
the vet said that she has some sort of old injury. But while stiff she is
perfectly capable of jumping up to sofas. A one-floor living might be better
for her, but she manages our basement stairs just fine. Her old injury could
be why she was not as successful at finding food in the wild.
If you know of anyone who is looking for a cat, please let them know about
these two. Our local shelter is a kill shelter, so I will not take them
there. They deserve a good home.
Thank you for your time and attention.
