Subject: [Ponte Alto] Indoor practice site decision from the
EmergencyFinancial Committee

To the Barony of Ponte Alto:

The Emergency Financial Committee -- comprised of Lady Millicent
Chandler, Exchequer; Lady Katharine Devereaux, Seneschal; and Lord
James de Biblesworth, Castellan -- have come to this decision regarding
the proposal for using Lemon Road Elementary for Sunday afternoon practices.

The Barony of Ponte Alto will sign a one month contract for the month
of January with Lemon Road Elementary School so that members of the
Barony may gather on its property on Sunday afternoons.

Since there has been a tremendous outpouring of financial assistance from
within the Barony -- Baroness Agnes has sent $200, Lady Courtney has
pledged $100, Sir Guy has pledged $100, and Baron Marcellus has
pledged $50 for a total of $450 -- there is no need for Baronial
coffers to pay for this activity. Several other members have pledged
money and that should cover the additional $70 needed for the month of
January. When that money has been submitted to the exchequer, she can
cut a check to the appropriate party. If there is an overage, the extra
monies
will stay in the Lemon Road Sunday Practice fund to defray the expense for
future months, should the Barony approve of continuing the indoor Sunday
practices. No refunds will be made.

Those who would like for the indoor practice/gatherings to continue
for February and beyond should bring a proposal to the January meeting
for the entire Barony to vote upon. We could also consider holding a
fundraiser lunch at our Baronial Investiture to defray the $520/month
cost of this
practice/gathering. This would also be voted upon at the January meeting as
Ponte Alto does not recognize virtual pollings, meetings or votes.
Should the Barony
choose not to continue the indoor Sunday practices, any leftover funds
gathered for
January will be reallocated to another fund, per the Barony's approval.

Please send checks to go into the Lemon Road Sunday Practice Fund to
Melanie Cozad's mailing address which is located on the Exchequer page
at http://pontealto.atlantia.sca.org/exchequer.php.

In service,

Lady Millicent Chandler
Chancellor of the Exchequer
