Check the website before you try and go. They have been having funding problems and although they made it through the fall I don't know what their status will be in the new year.

I'm not sure exactly where you're located, but you may want to try Springwater Fiber Workshop in Alexandria. I haven't been there myself, but I believe they have all sort of fibery goodness. Unfortunately, their website says they will be closed until January 14 for restocking and refurbishing the space. http://www.springwaterfiber.org/

  Good luck!

I am new to spinning and am looking for wool that would be good to learn with. I'd like to buy locally but have only found one shop in Stierbach. There's so many links online, some look better than others. Any suggestions? Any favorites?
