Greetings Rebekah, and welcome to the Kingdom of Atlantia and the Barony of
Ponte Alto (even if only as our virtual guest)!

My husband is the archery marshal here in Ponte Alto, and since he is
usually only half-aware of email lists, I'll be happy to chime in here and
tell you what he would in this instance.

As an archer, you could not ask for a better home than the area around Ponte
Alto. Many of the best archers in Atlantia call this part of the Kingdom
home, and there is a very active community of archers who are known for
their low-key camaraderie and creativity in designing shoots. We have a
weekly archery practice which we share with the Barony of Stierbach, located
just to the south and west of us. (You may hear the occasional jest about
the "Ponte-Bach Collective.") There are at least 2 or 3 major archery
events a year in this kingdom, and as many of the best archers are in the
northern region of the Kingdom, they tend to be an easy drive.

As some have already noted, there are at least 5 baronies located within an
hour's drive in this region, and the groups are not only very active, but
play well together. It is not uncommon for individuals to live in one group
and play with another, and have many friendships with people in other
groups.

I am the Chatelaine for the Kingdom of Atlantia, if there is any assistance
I can render to you, about Ponte Alto, about Atlantia, or even about
relocation issues (real estate prices, schools, etc....), please contact me.
I am happy to help. Our Baronial Castellan (our term for a male
Chatelaine), James de Biblesworth, can also assist you -- he is quite
knowledgeable, and he and his wife are excellent costumers as well.

In Service,

Luce Antony Venus
Chatelaine, Atlantia
