[Ponte Alto] MD RenFest was: (no subject)

I went two weekends ago in garb with people who
never tried garb before. By the time our
visit was over, two had made garb purchases,
one had rented, and one bought an outfit from
me that I had just bought at Pennsic (I had
extra stuff in my car)

So I think not only can you go in garb but it's
a gentle intro for any non-sca friends who might
like to try it for fun.

Also, I've going to the MD renn faire on and off
for years (i think it used to be held at merriweather
post if memory serves) and I have noticed a huge
increase in the numbered of costumed attendees
of late.

Enjoy!
