Merchants are very welcome! We regret that our Merchant coordinator's e-mail has been unavailable, so if you have been trying to reach Baron Marcellus, please direct your e-mails to afpopa at cox.net and courtneydehoughton at yahoo.com.

Space is still available! There is no additional merchanting fee and the spaces are approximately 10'x10'. You will have to provide your own display space (i.e. we are not able to provide tables). The merchant area is located in the same building as the rest of the day's activities, but the space is not heated (although with the large crowd we are expecting, it should not remain cold for long!) Merchants are REQUIRED to present proof of a VA Sales tax number to either autocrat (Lord Connor or Lady Courtney) or Baron Marcellus before setting up. For more information on obtaining a VA sales tax number, please check out: http://www.dba.state.va.us/licenses/

We hope everyone can make it for all of the wonderful events being planned!

There will be fighting aplenty, courtly wooing, fantastic merchanting, children scamping (safely of course!), dogs a'romping (yes, dogs are allowed provided they are leashed and cleaned up after), and some tremendous Arts and Sciences exhibits and opportunities. And the feast, oh the feast. It will be simply divine!

Bring out your spiffiest outfits, especially in your heraldic colours, as there will be a heraldic competition for best use of heraldry!

Come prepared to vote on any and all fighters displaying the 7 Knightly Virtues!

Bring an appetite and a few extra shillings to the luncheon being offered as a fundraiser for Their Majesties Royal Travel Fund! And the Sweet Shop will be visiting us as well!

Come prepared to shop and enjoy the day's festivities!

Children will be able to participate in a Children's Corner from 12:30-2:30, with some really fun actitivies being planned!

All of this will be happening in an enclosed arena, which while not heated per se, is totally enclosed and is sure to heat up from the excitement of the crowd!

And don't forget the fabulous feast that awaits everyone at the end of a fun filled day! Meistr Gruffudd ap Cadfael (Carl Harris) will be preparing a sumptuous feast in the English 15th century style. Space is limited to 100, so get those reservations in early!

All of this information can be found at this website: http://pontealto.atlantia.sca.org/tolab.php

Can't wait to see everyone there! (Feel free to cross-post this to other lists!)
