An Evening of Persian Cuisine and Art

The Textile Museum



The Textile Museum and the Washington, DC Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier
cordially invite you to attend An Evening of Persian Cuisine and Art on
Monday, September 18 at 6:30 pm.

This special evening event, in honor of the publication From Persia to Napa
by Najmieh Batmanglij, features a lavish buffet dinner with recipes from the
book, complemented by Napa Valley wine from Darioush Winery. The evening
also includes a private viewing of the exhibition Pieces of a Puzzle:
Classical Persian Carpet Fragments, introduced by Museum Director and
exhibition curator Daniel Walker, as well as authentic tar music performed
by Behfar Bahadoran.

The Textile Museum Shop will be open during the event and is offering a 10%
discount on all purchases, including From Persia to Napa. Najmieh Batmanglij
will be signing books during the evening.

Fee: $85/members of The Textile Museum and or Les Dames;
$95/non-members. Reservations are required; space is limited.
