The Textile Museum and the Washington, DC Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier cordially invite you to attend <B><I>An Evening of Persian Cuisine and Art</I></B> on Monday, September 18 at 6:30 pm.<BR>

This special evening event, in honor of the publication <B><I>From Persia to Napa</I></B> by Najmieh Batmanglij, features a lavish buffet dinner with recipes from the book, complemented by Napa Valley wine from Darioush Winery. The evening also includes a private viewing of the exhibition <B><I>Pieces of a Puzzle: Classical Persian Carpet Fragments</I></B>, introduced by Museum Director and exhibition curator Daniel Walker, as well as authentic tar music performed by Behfar Bahadoran. <BR>

The Textile Museum Shop will be open during the event and is offering a 10% discount on all purchases, including <I>From Persia to Napa</I>. Najmieh Batmanglij will be signing books during the evening.<BR>
