The Hancock Fabrics sewing machine guy (his name is Jeff, by the way) 
does a rotation of several stores-- I know he's at the Vienna store on 
Wednesday, but if you call your local one they'll be able to tell you 
if/when he comes in to their store.  He charges $38 for general 
cleaning, and if all you have is a bent bit that doesn't need to be 
replaced, he'll almost certainly include that in the general cleaning 
cost.  If he does have to replace something, he'll call you with an 
estimate before he does stuff.  Anyway, he knows his stuff & does a 
pretty good job at the best rates around locally.
