 FYI: Dun Carriag is in desperate need of pre-regs for their 8 May
Challenge of the Heart event or it may need to be cancelled.  Please
consider supporting them by going...it's sure to be a great event.
Also, Mistress Kiri is cooking feast so it's sure to be spectacular and
well worth the trip for that alone!

Greetings Everyone:

As of today, the Barony of Dun Carraig has only 8 reservations from
outside their Barony for the subject event.  In short...they are
desperate for reservations.

Dun Carraig was kind enough to give up their original "reserved date" so
that we could have Night of Fools at Camp Barrett.   What better way to
show our appreciation and support by attending their event?

There will be heavy and rapier fighting, target archery, a thrown
weapons tourney.  There will be a "First attempts" A&S display as well
as an open competition.  Mistress Kiri is cooking the feast so you know
it will be good!

So please...if you plan on attending, send your reservations ASAP (they
need to decide by this coming Wednesday as to whether or not to hold the
event and how many to cook for) .   Reservations should be sent to:
Heather Kriebel, 8365 Napping Place, Welcome, MD  20693.  Please e-mail
Heather (Baroness Amalia) at Reservationist at duncarraig.net to let her
know it is in the mail.

Prices are as follows:
Adult Off-Board - $7
Adult-On-Board - $12
Children 7 - 17 - Off-Board $2
Children 7 - 17 - On Board - $5
Children 6 and under are guests of the Barony.
Non members add three dollars!  

The event announcement can be found on Dun Carraig's web site.  You can
access it through the Kingdom of Atlantia's web site at
www.atlantia.sca.org.  Click on local groups, click on Dun Carraig,
click on "unofficial event calendar" and then Click on Challenge of the
Heart.  

I will post this to the Lochmere list when I get home.   So I apologize
in advance to those of you who will receive this missive twice.  I just
wanted to get the word out to as many people as possible as soon as
possible!
