Hello, all.
Those of you who know the medieval english song "sumer is icumen in" will
appreciate this parody.
Given some of the discussion (!) we had at the vocal music practice tonight,
I wanted to share this with our singers....but I'm not sure I have
everyone's direct email address, so I'm sharing this with the list. Hope
the rest of you don't mind! :)
Anne.
> Winter is icummen in,
> Lhude sing Goddamm,
> Raineth drop and staineth slop,
> And now the wind doth ramm!
> Sing: Goddamm.
> Skiddeth bus and sloppeth us,
> An ague hath my ham,
> Freezeth river, turneth liver,
> Damn you, sing: Goddamm.
> Goddamm, Goddamm, 'tis why I am, Goddamm,
> So 'gainst the winter's balm.
> Sing goddamm, damm, sing Goddamm,
> Sing goddamm, sing goddamm, DAMM.
