[Ponte Alto] Garb Day Sunday 29th Repost/Corrections

Just reposting this in plain text with one correction on directions and of 
course the correct date is Sunday the 29th ( thank you Wallace)

A reminder that Garb day is open to all Pontoons who would like a hand (or 
two ) or just some company whilst getting their garb in shape....

Sorry for the short notice on this, but hooray that the kingdom server is 
back!

I will be hosting a garb day this Sunday June 29, from 11 am until 5:15 pm 
at which point the meeting will adjourn. Those who wish may then make 
pilgrimage to the monthly Baronial meeting in Falls Church. If you know of 
any newcomers that would like to attend, please pass along this info.

***If anyone with confident costuming skills could come help it would be 
appreciated. I can get folks through a basic tunic/dress and leggings but 
any gentle with fitting and drafting skills would be appreciated. ***

There is plenty of table space for cutting. I have a Bernina serger and 
machine available for use. If you have your own machine please bring that. 
Please remember to bring your own thread, scissors, pins etc

I will have drinks and some snacks available bring something to share if you 
like.

Find your best way to Fairfax County Parkway (7100) You may want to look at 
a map

If you are coming from the Reston/Herndon area: Take FFXC PKY South (7100) 
to the Exit for Hooes Road/Pohick Road. At light at top of exit ramp turn 
LEFT. Go straight through light and into my development. This is Seabrook 
Lane. Continue to STOP sign. My house will be on the far left corner. Tan 
Dutch colonial green shutters 7588. Just come right in as we may be 
downstairs working.

If you are coming from 495 and points North: Take the exit for Old Keene 
Mill Road (644 West). Stay on Olde Keene Mill past Rolling Road. At the 
third light *after* Rolling Road, you will turn LEFT onto Huntsman Blvd. 
Follow Huntsman to the first light at Fairfax County Pky (7100) Turn LEFT. 
Take the first exit for Hooes Road/Pohick Road. At light at top of exit ramp 
turn LEFT. Go straight through next light and into my development. This is 
Seabrook Lane. Continue to STOP sign. My house will be on the far left 
corner. Tan Dutch colonial with green shutters 7588. Just come right in as 
we may be downstairs working.

>From Alexandria You can take Van Dorn Street to Kingstowne Blvd. Turn RIGHT 
on Kingstowne. Continue straight. This becomes Manchester Blvd, then 
Franconia Springfield Parkway, then Fairfax County Parkway. There are no 
turns they all just run together. Stay in middle lane. Continue to Exit for 
Hooes Road/Pohick Road. At second light on exit ramp turn RIGHT. This is 
Seabrook Lane. Continue to STOP sign. My house will be on the far left 
corner. Tan Dutch colonial green shutters 7588. Just come right in as we 
are likely to be downstairs working.
