[MR] Accessibility Activities at the Thrown Weapons Range at Pennsic

Greetings all, At the Thrown Weapons range at Pennsic, we will be having an accessibilityround table and teaching session, and a tournament for anyone withaccessibility issues. There will be golf carts available to get interested peopleup to the range. Pick ups will be at Accessibility Point, and the North Gate BusStop, starting ½ an hour before each session and returning ½ hour after completionof the class and tournament. Accessibility Round Table and Instruction – Tuesday 5 August 1-230The round table and instruction is geared towards marshals and those interestedin throwing who may have accessibility issues. Our goal is to make Thrown Weaponsas accessible as possible to as many people as possible. We will have weaponsavailable for those who want to try it out. Accessibility Tournament – Wednesday 6 August 9-1030This tournament is open to any participant with any accessibility issues. This includes,but is not limited to, crutches, wheelchairs, shoulder problems, vision or hearingconcerns, etc…. We welcome all to the range at other times, too, but the carts will not beavailable, except at these times. Additionally, we would like to state that though service animals are welcome ATthe range, they are not allowed ON the range, as it would be too dangerous tothem. If you have a friend to act as handler while you are on the range, then thereshould be no concerns. Please feel free to cross post this to other sites/lists where you feel it might be appropriate
