Today the BBC is presenting a lively story about Viking cookery and diet.
The story features Daniel Serra, described as a "Swedish culinary
archaeologist". In addition to the text, there is a video in which Dr.
Serra prepares a traveller's fish porridge with a side of roasted turnips.
