Unto the Populace of fair Atlantia does Baroness Margaret Lad, Kingdom
Chatelain, send greetings.

This missive is to announce that I will be stepping down from my position
this summer. I have accepted the role of Society Chatelain and so our fair
Atlantia is now in need of a new Kingdom Chatelain.

I would also like to take this moment to thank all of my deputy and branch
Chatelains for their time and efforts during my tenure. Thank you all for
your service to your local groups and to your Kingdom. And thank you for
making my time as Kingdom Chatelain a positive and enjoyable experience. I
appreciate you all very much.

The Kingdom Chatelain position is a Great Officer of State position. As
such, you must understand and comply with the eligibility requirements and
responsibilities detailed in the following documents:

Governing Documents of the SCA (http://www.sca.org/docs/pdf/govdocs.pdf):
Part I.D.2 (Membership Requirements: Officers) and Part VII (Kingdom,
Principality, and Local Officers).
Atlantian Great Book of Law, Sections 4 and 5
Atlantian Book of Policy, Section 9 (Policies of the Kingdom Chatelain)
