[MR] Polling for Incipient Branch in eastern North Carolina

[Atlantian Seneschal]

Greetings from Duchess Simone, Kingdom Seneschal to the participants and
members of the SCA in zip codes:  28513 /28532/28560/28562.



The Kingdom of Atlantia received the request to create a new branch
tentatively named 'The Incipient Shire of Ursus Bay' in your zip codes. In
order to allow each member to respond to the request for a new group, *a
polling will be open for 14 days from April 2nd, 2022 until April 16th,
2022. *



You need to have or create an account on the ESP (Atlantian electronic
system for polling) and link your membership if you wish to respond to the
polling online.

After you have an account and it is linked to your membership, you will see
the polling on the "Baronial" side of the ESP which can be directly
accessed at:

https://polling.atlantia.sca.org/barony



(Until now the only landed groups that have used it are Baronies, hence the
naming)



You may respond:

YES - we wish to create a new group - The Incipient Shire of Ursus Bay

NO - We wish to remain Crown lands

ABSTAIN - no opinion

A comment area is provided for your thoughts.



Your responses will go directly to the Kingdom Seneschal. The Kingdom
Seneschal will discuss your responses with the Crowns of Atlantia. The
decision of the Crowns and the Kingdom Seneschal will be announced via the
Kingdom announcements elist and FB page.



Anyone that cannot or does not wish to create an ESP account may email the
Kingdom Seneschal directly. Include your real name and SCA name, your
membership number with expiration date, and your response.



Anyone that is not a paid SCA member in these zip codes may write directly
to the Kingdom Seneschal to give input regarding the creation of the group.
