[MR] Richard III, Ten Years On

Noble Friends,

Today the BBC is offering an interesting look at some of the people who
were involved in the rediscovery and DNA identification of Richard III, aka
"The Car Park King". It has been 10 years since the remains were discovered
beneath a Leicester parking lot (beneath the space marked with an "R"). The
story briefly profiles the DNA scientist Professor Turi King, archaeologist
in charge of the dig Richard Taylor, the very late King's modern nephew
Michael Ibsen (a professional cabinet maker who built the casket in which
Richard was reburied), and, of course, researcher Philippa Langley.

Also of note, a theatrical movie about the discovery will soon be released
under the title THE LOST KING.
