Hellooooo it is your friendly neighborhood poetry hypemeister here to let
you know that the Duke Gyrth Oldcastle Poetry Memorial Smackdown is less
than a week away! The Smackdown will be from 1pm-3pm on Saturday March 6th
on Zoom (link to be posted on the website the day of or shortly before) and
all are welcome to attend the dazzling display of Atlantian artistry that
shall be smackdown'd before us!

The Smackdown serves as an opportunity for poets of all experience levels
to come and display their wordsmithing prowess in front of others in the
spirit of good fun. This is not a competition, though each entrant shall be
given a token to commemorate their participation. Entrants may keep any
bragging rights or excellent puns found during the Smackdown.

Entrants are asked to write the poem(s) beforehand and to either attend the
virtual KASF event to read their poems.
While you are not required to submit your poems ahead of time for the
Smackdown, the wonderful staff for the event have graciously provided a
voluntary opportunity to submit your poems for display. Poems will go on
display shortly after the event. Please use this form

delight of the fair populace of Atlantia.
