[MR] BBC: Medieval Tunnel Found at Tintern

Noble Friends,

For the last few days BBC Reel has been running a brief video on a
previously unknown tunnel in the vicinity of Tintern Abbey in Wales. The
tunnel was spotted by crews installing an underground electrical cable.
Historians from the Welsh heritage authority Cadw estimate the tunnel dates
from the 14th century. No exploration has yet taken place. Sewer, escape
tunnel, secret passage for naught monks going on a binge in town, or all
three? Nobody knows yet.
