[MR] BBC: V&A Acquired Medieval Brooch

Noble Friends,

Today the BBC has a brief illustrated story on a medieval brooch found by a
metal dectorist. The bauble is gold, with several diamonds, and is a very
high-status piece. Appropriately, it has been acquired by the Victoria &
Albert Museum, and will be displayed in their jewel collection:
