The Barony of Hawkwood has graciously agreed to be our hosts for the Fall
102nd Session of the University of Atlantia, to be held in Hendersonville,
NC on Saturday, September 21.

*University Website*: http://university.atlantia.sca.org/index.php

*Important Planning Dates*: *

   - August 16 = Class Track Proposals Due
   - August 21 = Individual Class Proposals Due
   - August 26 = Catalog available for Instructor Review
   - August 30 = Catalog opens for student registration

*Class submission timeline has been extended to accommodate Pennsic.

If you are interested in teaching a class, organizing a track of classes,
or have an idea for a class but don't know who to turn to, please view
http://university.atlantia.sca.org/teach.php or send a note to me at
university at atlantia.sca.org.

Class proposal information can be submitted either online or via email.

Instructors should receive an email after I review your class submission
and change the status of your class changed from "Pending" to "Approved".
Also, the catalog will open for instructor review on August 26. Please make
sure you review all your submitted classes for correctness BEFORE it is
opened up for student registration on August 30.

Don't forget the RESUBMIT class option is now available for instructors. If
you've taught a class before and want to submit it again for this session,
you can do so using this option.

If you email a class proposal, please include the following information:

   - Instructor name (SCA and modern)
   - Class title
   - Fees (if any)
   - Max number of students (the default maximum is 25)
   - Duration of class (1 hour, 2 hours, or more)
   - Class description
   - Any special requests including equipment or space requirements for the
class, as well as any conflicts. This includes equipment the instructor
would need from the site. E.g.: projector, sturdy tables, etc. Equipment is
not necessarily available, but it can't hurt to ask.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me (
university at atlantia.sca.org). I look forward to the 102nd session!

Also, we are actively seeking bids for the 103rd Session of Atlantian
University to be held February 1, 2020. Please contact me for information
about bid proposals and the bid process.

Thank you for supporting Atlantia's University.

In service,
Dame Adriana la Bretonne
