Unto Their Majesties, Ragnarr and Lynette, and the populace of Atlantia does Master Eldred AElfwald, Triton Principal Herald send greetings!

Here follows an account of Their Majesties' morning Royal Court at Nottinghill Coill's Baronial Birthday and Investiture, held on the 26th day of January, Anno Societatis LIII.

Present for the celebration of Nottinghill Coill's anniversary were the Barons and Baronesses of Sacred Stone, Hidden Mountain, Ponte Alto, Hawkwood, and Raven's Cove.

Their Majesties welcomed those gathered and summoned James Cooper into Their Presence in order to Award him Arms.

Their Majesties then gave leave to Their Excellencies of Nottinghill Coill, Lucien de la Rochelle  and Brig inghean Erri, to open Their last court.  The account of that Court is left to Master Hagar the Black to recount.

As Lucien and Brig stepped down, the Seneschal of Nottinghill Coill was called forth to hold the coronets in trust for the successors to the Baronial thrones.

For service beyond what is normally expected of a territorial Baron and Baroness, Ragnarr and Lynette bestowed an Augmentation of Arms of a "Gordian Knot" upon Lucien and Brig, to wit:  Two Wake knots conjoined in pale Or.

To much acclaim, Their Majesties called for Master Elphin ap Dafyd and Baroness Delia Flammen to take up the honor, duties, and resposibilities of the Baron and Baroness of Nottinghill Coill.  Upon taking Their oaths of fealty to the Kingdom, Elphin and Delia were invested as Baron and Baroness.

Lady Maire O Halowrane was called into the Royal Presence to be made the latest Companion of the Order of the Opal.

Their Majesties then summoned the Order of the Golden Dolphin to attend them, but it was observed that they seemed to be missing a Companion.  Baroness Ia Anna Kazimova was escorted before Their Majesties and inducted into the Order of the Golden Dolphin.

Lord Sven Olafssen was espied lurking at the fringes of Royal Court, making record of the event on behalf of the populace.  Duly summoned before the mighty Ragnarr and beauteous Lynette, Lord Sven was made a Baron of the Court in recognition of many years of service to the Kingdom.

Their Majesties summoned the autocrat to attend them.  To the puzzlement of all present, three gentles came forward.  Alas, Lady Aultany, the original autocrat, was unable to attend, and in her stead, three people stepped up to ensure that her planning and vision for the event was carried out.  Luckily, one of the three has shown herself time and again to be reliable when such emergencies arise.  Lady Catriona inghean Ghiolla Phadraig was required to stay behind when the autocrats' business was concluded in order to be placed on vigil to become a Companion of the Order of the Pelican.
