Noble Friends, Especially Fellow Scots:

Today the History Blog is reporting on the discovery of a rare Pictish
symbol stone near Dingwall in Scotland. The stone was found while
excavating an early Christian church site, which apparently was also used
in more modern times. The stone had been re-used as an 18th century
headstone: http://www.thehistoryblog.com/archives/56214 .

Another version of the story is found on the BBC at
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-highlands-islands-49446609 .

Yours Aye,

Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge 🦆
