Today the History Blog reports on the discovery in Spain of a rare tapestry
made for Henry VIII. The tapestry was part of a set of nine depicting
incidents in the life of Saint Paul and is called "Saint Paul Burning the
Heathen Books at Ephesus". It was woven around 1538, and is thought to have
been a political message affirming Henry's seizure of church assets and
dissolution of the monasteries in England:
