[MR] BBC: Siege Engines to Fling Again

Noble Friends,

Today BBC Wales is offering a brief video and story about the return of
demonstration siege engines to Caerphilly Castle. Could there be anything
cooler than seeing a full-sized trebuchet in action? See them work at

Imagine a conversation with the siege crew over an evening pint down at the
local: "What do you do for a living?" "I shoot trebuchets up at the
castle." What a dream job!

Sadly, the trebuchets are part of a "Disneyfication" project that will add
a maze and animatronic dragons to keep the tourists coming. (Sigh!)
