[MR] List of Castles in Virginia

Noble Friends,

While I don't usually blow my own horn on this board, today I am offering a
link to my (partly) illustrated list of castles in Virginia. Since there
just aren't many castles around these days, I have included some other
structures which are either preserved medieval or renaissance structures,
or are similar to structures or furnishings from which can learn something
relevant to our period interests (such as Jamestown):

Remember that several of these structures are private residences. If you go
exploring, please respect the owners' privacy.

This is an ongoing project, and I hope to include more photos in the
future. Suggestions for additional entries are welcome, but the final
decision on what to show remains my personal choice. I do not plan to
expand this list beyond Virginia.
