Today's featured Wikipedia article concerns the Guilden Morden Boar, an
early Saxon decorative piece cast in bronze (maybe) in the shape of a boar.
It was likely the crest piece of a helmet. The item was found circa 1864 in
a grave in Cambridgeshire, and now is displayed at the British Museum:
