Challenge: Preservation of the Harvest - meats, dairy, fruits, vegetables,
condiments or spices, beverages, storage items demonstrating period food
storage. EZ doc will do for documentation

Fiber/Leather Arts - Warm accessories for cold weather

Baking Contest: Pies - Sweet or Savory

Poetry Competition - Harvest/Supernatural/War

Veggie Carving:  (BYOV/tools) to be carved on site.

Bardic: Stories told around the Pit of Despair

Illumination - Harvest theme or fall colors, documentation desired

Lunch: Fundraiser sponsored by Spiaggia Levantina
<http://www.spiaggia-levantina.org/>, for only $5 you will enjoy:  Roasted
Vegetable Soup, Ham or Cheese fold-over sandwiches with real ham, desserts
and lemonade.



*Feast*:

*Appetizer Course*- Bread (wheat, barley, rye) plain and herbed butters,
cheeses, pickled veggies (onions, beets, mushrooms, etc.) mustard eggs,
gourd soup.

*First Course*- Stuffed pork loin, cabbage with apples and bacon, noodles,
broccoli and savory toasted cheese, spiced applesauce.

*Second Course*- Beef roast, barley and mushrooms, heritage carrots.

*Dessert Course*- Apple crumble, baked apples with fiery caudle, poached
pears, clotted crème.



*Friday night*:

Free camping available but you should reserve a space with the autocrat. A
Potluck dinner will be available (as long as you bring food to share).
Bardic around the fire.

Site: Caroline County 4-H Park, 8314 Detour Road, Denton, MD 21629. Site
opens 5 pm Friday, closes 11 a.m. on Sunday.



Site Restrictions: No animals except working service animals. No alcohol
sales. No ground fires. Must use a fire bowl.
