Noble Friends,

Today the featured article on Wikipedia is about King Richard II of 
England. Richard is generally considered one of the least successful 
English kings, but that may be because his memory was so badly smeared 
by Shakespeare. Richard was eventually overthrown by Henry Bolingbroke, 
who had him imprisoned in the Tower of London. Later Richard was held at 
Pontefract Castle where he was starved to death in February of 1400:
