Noble Friends,

These past few days BBC has been offering a brief article about King
Arthur. The article asks, "Was Arthur Welsh?" Well, maybe, but the
English claim him as their own, as well as the Scots (the Round Table is
supposedly under the Stirling Castle knot garden), and IIRC the Cornish.
The article discusses how Arthur has been used as a symbol of the
highest ideals of chivalry, as well as a symbol of national legitimacy.
It makes very interesting and though-provoking reading:

Yours Aye,

Mungo Napier, Laird of Mallard Lodge
