Noble Friends,

On this date in 1492, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain issued 
a decree ordering the conversion or expulsion of all Jews remaining in 
Spain. The Alhambra Decree, as this order is known, was part of the 
Catholic reconquista of Spain from Islamic rulers. Jews had enjoyed
