Noble Friends,

Tycho Brahe, the Danish astronomer and alchemist, was born in 1546. 
Brahe was famous for his astronomical observations and star catalog, 
though he resolutely defended the notion that the sun orbited the earth. 
Brahe was also famous for his artificial nose (made of brass, not gold) 
which he earned after being wounded in a duel. You can read more about
