Unto the populace of fair Atlantia does your Kingdom Chatelain send
greetings. I would like to thank Mistress Rhonwen verch Tuder for her long
service as the Training and Education Deputy for the Chatelains’ Office,
and wish her happy success in her many new adventures!

The Kingdom Chatelains’ Office has an immediate need for a new Training and
Education Deputy. This position would be responsible for:

· Assisting Kingdom Chatelain in continuing to develop and present
advanced Chatelain training.

· Assisting the Chatelains’ Office by creating (or updating) classes
for Chatelain use at Universities, events and online training which would
educate the populace on various aspects of the Chatelains’ office and the
Society at large. (The Training and Education Deputy is not exclusively
responsible for the presentation of these classes, as newcomer education is
the responsibility of all Chatelains)

· Ensure that the Chatelains’ Office conducts at least one training
session for Chatelains and/or populace each quarter. These sessions can be
in-person at an event, or online using tools such as Google Hangouts or
Skype.

This is an Officer of State position, and its specific requirements can be
found in Section 4.5 & 5.4 of Kingdom Law (
http://www.atlantia.sca.org/offices/seneschal/clerk-of-law/book-of-law/laws-of-the-kingdom).
Additionally, the officer will need to be familiar with the Chatelain
Policy found in Section 9 of the Kingdom Book of Policy (
http://www.atlantia.sca.org/offices/seneschal/clerk-of-law/policy/chatelain).
If selected, the initial term of office is three (3) years, and you will be
reporting directly to the Kingdom Chatelain.
