(This conversation appears to be bouncing through a few lists so I am going
to pull it back to the MR and siege guild list. :)

The biggest issue the southern region of the Kingdom has with regards to
siege is simply lack of engines. We have folks interested in siege,
authorized engineers, marshals, and events willing to host - just a
significant lack of engines.

So #1 - We need engines. Master Jonathas has a line on a great set of
plans that have been used over and over and produce an engine that is
easily used on the battlefield, is very mobile and can be run with 1-3
engineers. There are a number of these within the Kingdom and, as far as I
am aware, everyone has a great time using them!

#2 Engines need to go to events - can't play with them at events if they
aren't there.

#3 The siege community needs to work with events to incorporate target
siege and/or melee when possible. And set up table top competitions when
possible. (no authorization or armor needed for table top!)

Siege is on the schedule for War of the Wings and the MiC and heavy marshal
have already incorporated siege into the battle scenarios for Saturday. It
is also my deepest hope to have target siege competitions on Friday as well
as classes and authorizations - I will make it all happen as long as I have
engines committing to be there.

If you have an engine, but don't have a designated crew - no worries! Put
it out on the siege list that you are bringing your engine and looking for
crew and I have no doubts you will have a fully staffed engine before you
leave your driveway.

If you are interested in having siege at your event - please contact me or
your nearest siege marshal. We will get something going!

Right now my plan is to have the majority of information flowing through
the siege guild list for Atlantia, that way no one has to hunt through a
half dozen lists or social media pages to get information on siege
activities or reach the siege community - so if you are interested in
siege, please join siegeguild at yahoogroups.com

If storage space, practice space, construction space (you get the idea) is
your challenge about getting involved with siege, just let me know:
Elchenburg has your space.
