Noble Friends,

Plans are afoot for restoration and repurposing of Wymering Manor, a 1581 house in Portsmouth. The building is the oldest in the city, and is said to be haunted by numerous ghosts.

BBC's story about the current state of the house is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-21355760 .

For a really cool slide show see http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-21355761 , and a YouTube video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQlg6IpsAOY .

An interesting history of the house can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wymering_Manor .

More on the ghosties is at http://paranormal.about.com/od/hauntedplaces/a/Wymering-Manor.htm and at http://www.67notout.com/2010/09/25-ghosts-of-wymering-manor.html .

Yours Aye,
