Noble Friends,

Once again, our chums in Merry Olde England are keeping the Richard III controversy alive and hot!

Leicester has unveiled an exhibition of comic-book styled art that tells Richard III's story, some of it chilling (especially the parts showing the princes in the tower): http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-21382096 .

Over in Wales, they've also dipped their feet into the controversy. A long-forgotten poem (forgotten in England, at least) tells how Rhys ap Tomos struck Richard the fatal blow with his battle axe. Apparently Henry VII believed his claims (and might have witnessed the stroke), since he made Tomos a Garter Knight shortly after the battle. An audio clip on the poem is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-21469794 .

Yours Aye,

Lord Mungo Napier, The Archer of Mallard Lodge
