Love the dressed chicken, but the turnspit dog is even neater. For those 
of you who don't know, a turnspit dog was bred to turn a spit for 
roasting meat by running in a sort of squirrel cage. See this Wikipedia 
article for more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turnspit_Dog . I was told 
by my driver/guide that there are only two such spits remaining in England.
