This year at War of the Wings there are MANY competitions for all skill
levels and interests.
There will be one war point given for the Adult A&S competitions but there
will be a number of competitions which will go toward that point.
There are also competitions which do not count toward the war point but
that will still challenge your skill and creativity.

*Friday*

*Pentathalon Competition (2 points)*- Enter five separate items in a
variety of categories for judging. Please noted that you must register for

*Poetry Competition (1 point)*- Period style poetry. Extra points will be
awarded for utilizing the theme. http://warofthewings.com/ans-show.html

*Best Addition to the Atlantian Herb Garden* - Decorative, botanical or
functional, but should fit into the garden with a pre-17th century look and

*Flights of Fancy: Mask Competition *- Hand decorated masks will be judged
during the Masked Ball, winners displayed in the A&S area on Saturday.

*Saturday*

*Backlog Scroll Competition (3 points)*- This is not your ordinary scroll

*Novice Competition (2 points)*- Artisans having learned the art/science

*Youth Novice Competition (counts towards the Youth War Point)-* Artisans,
under 16, having learned the art/science within the past year are welcome!

*Performing Arts Competition (1 point)* - Songs, stories, dance.... all
