[MR] OPEN BAR & Baronial Brewing Smackdown @ Highland River Melees

While the smackdown is still mid-process - I want to announce the 2nd
annual BARONIAL <echo> BREWING <echo> SMACKDOWN DOWN DOWN <echo>

at this upcoming Highland River Melees.

We have a wet camping site folks, and we aren't afraid to use it!

This year will feature *4*, count them *4* different 'beverage related
activities'.

They are:

-- Tri-Barony-Cup --

 As per last year, His Excellency Drogo of Ponte Alto, Her Excellency
Sorcha of Storvik, and myself (of Highland Foorde) will meet
head-to-head again, in a rematch of last year's highly contested
competition of who can provide their Barony with the 'best beverages'.

 We welcome people who wish to help judge, impartially, beverages
provided by us, to please step forward to do so.

-- Open Group Competition --

 We charge that while the 3 of us might have a bit-o-rivalry going on.
The REAL wealth of all of Atlantia, are each and every brewer out there.
 To that end, we charge all brewers, one and all, to bring out their
best beverages.  In this case to be judged by Drogo/Sorcha/Myself.   We
will provide only the scoring of each beverage, but not actually make
any determination as to the winning group.

 That decision will be passed on to the same judges who were judging us.
 They will look at our scores, and decide which group they feel should
win.  Be that by raw number of entries, or be that by most outstanding
beverage.  The choice will be those judges, we will simply stand by it
(and then hotly debate it)

 NOTE:  Because the focus of all the brewing at Highland River Melees,
is to make 'tasty beverages to satiate the thirst of the masses', we
will not be judging beverages based upon documentation.  Simply bring
your beverage WITH AN INGREDIENT LIST.  Last year this was a HUGE hit,
as we had many new brewers enter, without fear of needing to do high
levels of documentation.

 Again as last year, we ourselves, as well as by challenge to all
brewers of Atlantia, will host an OPEN BAR at Highland River Melees!
We will open the bar at least 30 minutes BEFORE COURT, and keep it open
during court, all through feast, and into the evening as long as
supplies hold out.

 I must impress again, that last year we had 90 gallons of beverage
provided for the populace, and only slightly more than 10 gallons
actually went drunk.   ATLANTIA!  YOU CAN DO BETTER!

-- Youth Beverages! --

 A new addition this year!  The youth coordinator has asked for us to
provide 'Youth Friendly' drinks during the Open Bar.  Which only makes
sense!

 But let's do that one better!  Not only will we provide beverages, but
we are going to have a COMPETITION.  This will be judged BY THE YOUTH!

 Everyone who wishes to make non-alcoholic beverages of any type and
bring them are welcomed for the open bar.  But we will also have a
judging competition, where all the Youth will be invited to sample all
the different drinks, and declare a winner among themselves to be given
away in court for the drink that they enjoyed the most!
