Noble friends,
Here are two very interesting video clips from BBC Wales:
A 13th century Welsh law book has gone up for auction today in London:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18777544 . This is one only a few medieval
books in Welsh to survive. It was this text which sparked Llwellyn's
rebellion against the Edward I in 1282.
The oldest surviving medieval ship is undergoing restoration in Newport.
This is a very neat little story on how to preserve a ship, as well as
showing some interesting details:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-17708611 . I missed this one when it
appeared back in April, but it was thankfully appended to the first story.
Yours Aye,
Lord Mungo Napier, That Crazy Scot
