Unto Our Barons and Baronesses, worthy Peers, and Our true and noble
subjects do Cuan and Padraigin, King and Queen of the Atlantians, send
greetings this 28th day of September AS XLVI. Know that We intend to to
cause to be held at the end of the first week of November upcoming, in Our
Barony of Tir-y-don, a grand tournament. The victor of said tournament shall
be declared heir presumtive to the throne of Atlantia. Each combatant shall
fight for the honor of a consort. The victor's consort shall likewise be
named Our successor. We have heretofore invited several worthy gentles that
We would hold up as examples of prowess, courtesy and nobility to enter the
list. Now We would extend that invitation and summon all Our Dukes, Counts,
Viscounts, Earls, Knights, Barons, Baronesses, and other gentles of coat
armor to defend the strength of Our Kingdom by contending in Our Crown
Tournament.

As We would not see one drop of Atlantian blood needelessly or impiously
spilled, Our tournament shall be contested with weapons of peace. While
thrusts to the armored body and limbs shall be permitted, We are of the
opinion that thrusting to the face is properly reserved for war, and as
such, is specifically disallowed. The finals of the tournament shall be
fought best of five bouts. The senior shall choose first, and no weapon form
may be employed more than once until and unless a fifth match is required to
decide the outcome.

Letters of Intent to participate in Crown Tournament should be submitted to
Us and the Kingdom Seneschal by October 15th. Letters must include the
following:

SCA and Modern names of the cobatant and consort

SCA membership numbers for each

Mailing address, email address and phone numbers for each
We reserve the right to accept letters past the deadine up to and including
the day of the tournament. While letters may be sent electronically, Her
Majesty will be awarding a prize for the best hand-written/decorated letter
of intent.

Cuan Rex, Padraigin Regina
