We are home from War of the Wings and tired, but not as tired as the dedicated volunteers that made it possible for over 900 of us to enjoy a wonderful event.  Long before most of us reached the event, these folks were preparing the way.  Then, the same people gave up their weekend for our fun.  It was hard not to notice that Lord Raven was always in the parking lot helping us find spaces, Lord Jarvis was in charge of privies and site cleanup after the event, and that Lady Cecilia (who does the monumental job of Kingdom Chronicler) spent all of her time at the gate.  These are just a few examples.  We commend Master Bran for for marshalling such a competent, courteous staff and we ask you to express your thanks to these good people when you have the opportunity.  Better yet, if you did not get a chance to volunteer this year, show your appreciation, by volunteering some of your time next year, when WoW is sure to be even bigger.  
 
We hope that everyone had as good a time as we did, whether on the field, on the range, in the riding ring, in the A&S tents, or around the fire with friends.  Thank you to all those who helped make WoW such a good time. And a special thank you for all those who were patient and kind to a 6 year old boy whose parents were busy playing king and queen all weekend.
